Recover a recording after a crash

Every second of a recording is kept in your browser’s storage until the upload is finished. If the tab crashes, the computer sleeps or Wi-Fi drops, nothing is lost.

1. Open the recorder again in the same browser on the same device.
2. You’ll see A recording was not finished.
3. Click Upload it. When it finishes you’ll see Recording recovered and uploaded and the video appears in your library.

If you don’t want it, choose Discard. Recovery only works in the browser profile where you recorded, and clearing site data removes it.
