Bujua vs Tella

Tella is for polished, edited recordings: course content, product demos, presentations. Bujua is for the quick video you send instead of a meeting, and the conversation that follows.

The short answer

Tella fits when the video is the product: it has editing, 4K and 60 fps export, custom domains, and no free plan, starting at $13 per user a month on annual billing. Choose Bujua when the video is a message: record in one take, share a link instantly, collect comments on the second and see who watched, from $8 per recording seat with a Free plan.

Switching from Tella

Most teams are done in an afternoon. You can run both side by side while people get used to it.

  1. Download your videos from Tella. Tella lets you export your videos as files.
  2. Upload them to Bujua. Drag in many files at once, or paste a direct file link. Titles come from the file names; transcripts and summaries are generated for you.
  3. Invite the people who record as creators. Everyone else joins as a free viewer, or just keeps using links.
  4. Share new videos from Bujua. Old links keep working where they are until you retire them.
